The Adult Day Services program began out of a need identified by Charmaine Fogt at St. John’s Lutheran Church of Sidney. The program grew and needed to find a new home. At that point, Adult Day Services of Shelby County was established at Fair Haven. Our Adult Day Services Center was established at Fair Haven in 1985.

Families often unfamiliar with how to take care of their family member with early-stage Alzheimers visit us at Fair Haven to learn the many options available within the Shelby County system, from Day Services, to Nutrition Care; Fair Haven supports Sidney and the surrounding areas with expertise in elder care.

Nutrition Services of Shelby County was designed in 1996, for seniors over age 60 who are in need of a hot meal on a daily basis. Seniors may receive hot meals one of two ways.
